At the IChemE’s prestigious Global Awards Ceremony held on Thursday 20th November 2025, RJM was a Finalist in the Oil, Gas and Energy Transition category with its coal-to-gas conversion project at Aboño and a runner-up with a Highly Commended Award in the Industry Project category for its performance upgrade project at ZETES 2 Unit 3 in Turkey.
Joining the RJM table at the dinner were Mark Roberts, Technical Director at Evero Energy and Reginald Port, Managing Director of Energy Works Hull.
The team from RJM was also able to spend time with Spanish colleagues from Wood who led on the Aboño project and who were sitting on an adjacent table.
Commenting on the Awards successes, John Goldring, Managing Director of RJM International said, “Once again our innovative engineering solutions and our expertise in project delivery is being recognised by our peers in the engineering sector.
“It is a credit to all our people that we are able to showcase our projects in front of some of the world’s best engineers and produce winning entries when we are up against such tough competition from around the world,” he added.
