Yesterday (Thursday 10th September 2026), Mr. Nigel Atkinson, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, came to RJM’s Head Office in Winchester to make the formal presentation of The King’s Award to John Goldring, Managing Director of RJM International.
The company had the privilege of celebrating this achievement with all its UK-based staff, plus the Head of RJM USA and the Head of RJM Asia-Pacific, supported by some of RJM’s key suppliers. Other guests included Simon Tufnell, the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Jamie Scott, the Mayor of Winchester, Laura Taylor, the Chief Executive of Winchester City Council and Lucille Thompson, the Cabinet Member for Business & Culture on Winchester City Council.
Commnenting on the Award, John Goldring said, “This award is granted to those businesses that have achieved three years’ of consistently strong turnover growth in overseas markets. For us, over that three year period, this has meant good sales in Sweden, Spain, Turkey and Kosovo, as well as further afield in the USA, Malaysia and Australia.
“All of these projects have been quite different, so what this confirms to me is that no matter where in the world a power plant is, and no matter what the combustion technology or the type of fuel, RJM has a viable solution that can help that plant improve efficiency, cut its emissions, raise its MWe output – and increasingly – help it on its transition to net zero,” he confirmed.
