Today RJM welcomes its latest intake of Year in Industry students, marking the programme’s 11th successive year.

Both students join us from Nottingham University; Tom Cruickshanks (left) is studying Aerospace Engineering (Year 3) and Dan Attwood (right) is studying Mechanical Engineering (Year 2). During their time with RJM they will work on a number of emissions reduction and performance improvement projects at power stations, biomass plants and Energy from Waste sites in the UK and overseas. Many former YII students have returned to RJM following graduation to start their careers as Production or Process Engineers.

Commening on the scheme, Dr. Gerry Riley, Head of Business Development at RJM said, “We’re delighted to welcome Tom and Dan to RJM and look forward to immersing them in all aspects of our business, especially our work relating to optimisng performance of biomass and Energy from Waste plants, in the UK and overseas.”
